In January 2013, Travis Taute and Daryne Joshua attended the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The festival, which at the core focuses on Arthouse Film & Development was a learning of curve of note for both directors. Mixing with some of the most elite filmmakers from around the globe, the complexity of international financing, co-production and distribution were made accessible through world-class seminars hosted by European and American industry veterans. Through opportunities to pitch to various German, French and Dutch Producers, Gambit Films took a significant step forward in establishing an international client base for commercials, along with building budding relationships that will continuously be developed in the world of cinema. An inspiration for documentary filmmakers too, the festival enhanced Gambit’s 2013 project slate, allowing market research and audience appeal to fine-tune our projects based on commercial viability. Through a collaborative effort, 2013 will hopefully bring one or more of Gambit’s projects currently in development, into production with international partners. Despite the average -7C temperatures, the trip, which was facilitated through PUM EXPERTS was nothing but a success! Stay tuned for more updates as these projects head closer to a screen near you…

As part of the marketing for the new film that was filmed on location in Cape Town South Africa, 3 Remote Controlled planes designed as flying humans took to the skies of The Big Apple to get passers by talking. It’s the little things that make people take notice and this is extremely noval way to get people talking about your film. We sure are.
A great little campaign in britain that is trying to get people to stop using “The Big 6” energy providing companies, but rather look at greener possibilities. Great cause and great ad, not being biased in any way when we say the Cape Town towers going down is the best part.
